I hope this newsletter finds you well and you are all enjoying a lovely Easter break with your families. As we gear up for the upcoming term, here are some important dates to mark on your calendars:

 

First Half: Monday, April 15th to Friday, May 24th

May Day: Monday, May 6th - School Closed

Half Term: Monday, May 27th to Friday, May 31st

Second Half: Monday, June 3rd to Friday, July 19th

Important Events:

School Photos: Friday, May 17th

Farm Trip: Friday, June 14th (Parents/carers are encouraged to attend if possible)

Parent Consultations: Week commencing Monday, July 1st

Sports Day: Friday, July 19th (Please note this is not a regular school day)

 

Further details regarding our farm trip, photos, and sports day will be provided closer to the dates.

 

Additionally, we'll be starting the term with a show and tell on Monday, April 15th. If your child attends on this day, we kindly request they bring in a photo or photos of something memorable from their Easter holiday. Show and tell is an invaluable opportunity for our children to develop skills such as pride, communication, active listening, and building relationships.

 

As the weather begins to warm up, we kindly ask that you apply sunscreen to your child before they arrive at the nursery. With our busy classroom schedule, pre-applying sunscreen will help us maximise our outdoor time without disruptions.

Please ensure your child's snacks are labelled with their name and placed in the designated boxes. If your child attends both sessions, two labelled snacks should be provided – one for the morning and one for the afternoon, and placed within the designated boxes. For children attending only the morning session, please provide one labelled snack for the morning box.

 

Eirin and I eagerly anticipate welcoming back all the children next week. Until then, we hope you continue to enjoy the remainder of the break.
